The following workshops are held at Sinking Springs Herb Farm and offered through Cecil Community Parks and Recreation.

Suitable for 4-H, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts! Bring your group!

Come join Ann Stubbs at Historic Sinking Springs Herb Farm for a one of a kind adventure to connect with nature through crafts and educational outings. Annd holds a Master's Degree in Art and Elementary Education from the Universty of Delaware. She has done commissioned pieces and educational programs for the White House, Campbell's Soup Company and Longwood Gardens. Her passion is to inspire creativity through nature, in children and adults of all ages. Join in a class or two and enjoy a hands-on experience that will spark a fire in you for the love of nature. Leave behind your fast-paced world and ground yourself in the comfort of the natural world. All generations are welcome, so make this an adventure for the whole family!

Fall Wreath Building Workshop

Saturday, September 25, 2010 (1:30pm - 3:00)
Take a leisurely stroll through the gardens of this 18th century Plantation house to collect materials to make a Fall Wreath. The wreaths may be as large as 28 inches. For Moms and children grades 2-8.
Cost: $20 each

Family Pumpkin Carving

Thursday, October 21, 2010 (6:00pm)
Bring your family to tour the farm, enjoy cider and cookies and experience the Fall season at the Farm. Pumpkin carving instruction will be lead by Farm owner, Ann Stubbs. One pumpkin per family will be provided. Bring the whole family!
